Join this backyard bread course and cover every step of making rustic sourdough bread, from starter care to baking techniques. Learn the art of mixing, folding, and shaping dough, to achieve delicious, crusty loaves every time.

4 hour in-person workshop

Price includes:

  • Light seasonal snacks, including homemade sourdough bread and crackers, a farmers market salad and seasonal dips

  • Seasonal cocktails and home-brewed kombucha

  • A sourdough bread zine which covers all the information you’ll need to start your sourdough journey

  • A jar of lively sourdough starter

What you’ll learn:

  • How to maintain your starter culture 

  • The techniques and processes you’ll use to produce delicious and beautiful bread

What you should bring:

  • An apron

  • Two tea towels, a medium sized bowl for mixing dough, and a smooth cutting board

  • You’ll be taking two unbaked loaves to proof and bake at home

Special equipment:

  • A Dutch Oven or Combo Cooker. Don’t worry,  you won't need to bring it to the workshop but it will be essential for baking your sourdough at home.
